Join us.  Introduce yourself.   Let us know about your condition and ask any questions you might have.   We are a support group for people with Sun and light sensitivities.  Some of us have been diagnosed with solar urticaria, lupus, porphyria, sun hives, polymorphic light eruption, sun allergy,  rheumatoid arthritis, xeroderma pigmentosum and other  light reactive conditions.  We share our day-to-day experiences  and ways of living with sun sensitivity.  We discuss coping techniques such as sunscreens, clothing,  hats, sunglasses and the effectiveness of medical interventions.

Living with extreme photosensitivity can be frustrating or depressing. Family and friends don't quite understand what we go through, so sharing experiences with each other can help us cope.   Sharing our experiences can make a world of difference in our lives .   Learning about sunscreens (and finding the right  sunscreen) and Sun protective products can help improve our quality of life.
